Your role

We are supporting customer Risk business with all reporting requirements they have. To ensure proper reporting we are using the Microstrategy BI Suite as well as making use of Power BI for the Credit Risk reporting. Besides the risk reporting focus we also develop our own applications to support special requirements like PnL or Counterparty risk calculations, using a wide range of interesting technologies, like .Net core,  Snowflake, AWS Cloud services, Python and more.

 

The role includes:

  • Provide BI development and support to Risk departments in their daily reporting work by gathering requirements, designing, developing, and testing new requirements and change requests within the MicroStrategy BI tool.
  • Support with the existing BI and DWH knowledge the core development team on architectural decisions.
  • In addition analyze, develop and support Power BI, Excel reports, including VBA development
  • Work closely within an agile international IT team.
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to coding standards and governance guidelines.
  • Manages own and tasks/issues and supports to manage them for the business in JIRA.
  • Regularly communicate progress to end users, IT colleagues, IT management and Product Owner.

 

What do we expect?

  • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence and BI Tools (preferably MicroStrategy and PowerBI)
  • Good experience with SQL and VBA
  • Good communication skills and self organising skills
  • Working experiences with cloud technologies would be beneficial (AWS and Snowflake)
  • Working calm under high pressure and managing multiple tasks by accurate priorization is one of your skills
