About
We are looking for an Infrastructure and Network Administrator. In this role, you will support and maintain IT systems within our Renewables division, working across two technical teams to ensure stable, secure, and efficient infrastructure and network operations.
Your responsibilities
- Administer and maintain virtualized environments using VMware (ESXi, vCenter) – including deployment, monitoring, and optimization of virtual machines.
- Manage and support Windows Server and Windows Client environments, ensuring performance, security, and patch management.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory, including Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Organizational Units (OUs), and access permissions.
- Handle user and group management for internal systems and applications.
- Configure, manage, and support network infrastructure, including firewalls (Palo Alto, WatchGuard) and Cisco switching environments.
- Participate in network design, security hardening, and monitoring, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
- Collaborate with IT and OT (Operational Technology) teams to ensure high availability of systems supporting renewable operations.
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support for infrastructure and network-related incidents.
- Contribute to documentation, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What do we expect?
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with VMware technologies (ESXi, vCenter).
- 5+ years of experience administering Windows Server and Client environments.
- 3+ years of experience managing Active Directory, including GPO and identity management.
- Solid understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with firewall configuration and management, preferably Palo Alto and WatchGuard.
- Experience with Cisco switching and network troubleshooting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional IT team and coordinate with Renewables business units.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
- nice to have:
- Familiarity with OT networks or hybrid IT/OT environments.
- Experience with monitoring and automation tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Ansible, PowerShell).
- Basic understanding of cloud services (Azure, AWS).
- Relevant certifications (VCP, MCSE, CCNA, PCNSA) are advantageous.
