Whalebone is headquartered in Brno, Czech Republic.
At this point, Whalebone has 400+ customers in telecommunications and corporate sectors (A1, O2 Telefonica, Tele2, Panasonic, Bauhaus, and many others) around the globe.
Over the last 18 months, Whalebone has grown from 80 to 160 people. We’ve expanded globally, hired new leadership, and built strong recruitment foundations.
Now we’re entering the next phase.
We don’t just need to “fill roles”, we need to hire the right people, in the right way, for where we’re going next. That means stronger partnerships with hiring managers, better talent pipelines, and a more proactive approach to hiring across markets.
That’s why we’re looking for a Senior Recruiter who enjoys ownership, understands business needs, and can confidently drive hiring across multiple locations, functions and seniority level.
What’s ahead of you?
- You’ll run recruitment processes from start to finish - from shaping roles with hiring managers to closing the right candidates. You’ll hire across a variety of roles (tech, sales, marketing, finance), including senior positions, and ensure a smooth, structured, and high-quality hiring experience across regions.
- You won’t just take briefs, you’ll challenge, advise, and guide hiring managers. You’ll help define role requirements, set realistic expectations, and bring market insights into hiring decisions.
- You’ll actively source and engage talent, not just react to open roles. Together with HRBPs, you’ll stay one step ahead — building long-term talent pipelines, mapping the market, and supporting future hiring needs.
- You’ll help shape how we hire by improving sourcing channels, optimizing job ads and employer branding, and contributing to recruitment campaigns. You’ll bring new ideas on how to reach the right talent and have space to influence future improvements (including tools and ATS).
- You’ll ensure candidates feel respected, informed, and engaged throughout the process, from first contact to offer and onboarding. You’ll represent Whalebone in a way that reflects who we are.
- You’ll track hiring performance, use data to improve processes, and bring visibility into what’s working (and what’s not).
Who we’re looking for
5+ years in recruitment, ideally in a tech or scale-up environment
- Experience hiring across multiple functions and locations (IT, sales, marketing, etc.)
- Confidence in hiring senior roles (Head of / Director level)
- Ability to run recruitment end-to-end independently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn, Boolean, creative approaches)
- Good business understanding - you know how hiring connects to company growth
- Fluent English

What does the interview process look like?
We want to get to know you properly. You can expect: 2–3 interview rounds, meeting with HR and hiring stakeholders, a short practical task or discussion.
