What to expect
- programming and operating CNC machining centres
- programming and operating Wire EDM machines
- preparing CAD models and creating NC programs in CAD/CAM systems
- machining parts for die maintenance, repairs and modifications
- manufacturing fixtures, spare parts and other components for die maintenance
- custom manufacturing focused on producing specific parts (not serial production)
- communicating with machine manufacturers' service providers and suppliers of cutting tools, clamping systems and other machining accessories
- preparing technical documentation, reports and presentations using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- actively participating in the implementation of new technologies and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and work procedures
What you need
- secondary technical education with a school-leaving examination (mechanical engineering is an advantage)
- basic work experience or practical knowledge of CNC machining
- knowledge of at least one CNC control system: Siemens Sinumerik, Fanuc or Heidenhain
- basic experience with CAD/CAM software and NC programming
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- good user knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- basic English skills and willingness to further develop English language proficiency
- communicative Czech at a minimum B2 level
- willingness to learn new technologies, software and working procedures
- independence, attention to detail and strong technical thinking
- experience with Wire EDM, die repair and modification, toolmaking or custom manufacturing is an advantage
- willingness to work in a two-shift operation (morning and afternoon shifts)
