We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Data Engineer with experience in Databricks to join our dynamic Adastra team!

- In this role, you will help build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines on the Databricks platform. You will work closely with senior data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, high-quality data is available for analytics, reporting, and machine learning.
- You will be working on design and development of large-scale data processing and analysis projects and consulting the customers of Adastra.

- Compensation: 2 600 EUR/month. Salary expectation depends on the seniority level and we are open to speak about it.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor ETL/ELT data pipelines using Databricks.
- Build and optimize data transformation workflows using Apache Spark (PySpark or Spark SQL).
- Ingest data from various sources, including databases, APIs, cloud storage, and streaming platforms.
- Create and maintain Delta Lake tables following best practices.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python and PySpark code.
- Support data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and resolve data-related issues.
- Assist with performance tuning of Spark jobs and Databricks workloads.
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering standards and best practices.
- Document data pipelines, workflows, and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver business requirements.
- Support CI/CD deployments and version control using Git.
- Learn and adopt new cloud and data engineering technologies.
